Front-end developer Intern

OUR NEEDS

Spectral is looking for a motivated Front-end Developer Intern to work alongside our front-end development team. In this role, you’ll help maintain Vue dashboards that visualize time-series energy data from our REST APIs. You'll assist in developing new front-end features, contribute to reusable components across projects, and gain experience in modern front-end workflows and best practices. This is a great opportunity to deepen your skills while working on meaningful projects that support the energy transition.

You’re eager to learn and excited to apply your front-end development skills in a real-world setting. You have a strong eye for detail, enjoy solving problems, and are curious about how things work. While you may still be gaining experience, you're proactive, open to feedback, and ready to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced team. Most importantly, you're motivated to grow and be part of a mission-driven company working on the challenges of the energy transition.

Required Skills

• Experience with a front-end framework

e.g. Vue, React, Svelte, etc.

• Experience with Javascript and basic TypeScript

• Living around Amsterdam or willing to commute (Monday & Friday in office)

Nice to Have

• Experience with version control using Git

e.g. Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc.
